What We Do

Four disciplines. One point of contact.

Most projects stall between handoffs — the surveyor, the planner, the architect, the builder, each waiting on the other. We hold every discipline under one roof, so nothing waits.

01

Land Development

Feasibility, subdivision and title work that turns raw land into build-ready sections.

02

Resource Consent

RMA applications prepared and negotiated with council, so approvals move forward instead of stalling.

03

Building Consent

Documentation and compliance handled under the Building Act, keeping your programme on schedule.

04

House Building

Construction delivered to spec and on budget, from first foundation to final code compliance.

Quality & Safety. Most of our projects are built by Master Builder Certified Contractors, giving you confidence in the workmanship behind every stage of the build.
How It Works

Five stages. Nothing skipped.

Every project — a single home or a multi-lot subdivision — moves through the same disciplined sequence.

01

Concept

Site assessment, feasibility and an honest read on what the land can support.

02

Design

Plans shaped around your brief, your budget and the site's real constraints.

03

Consent

Resource and building consent secured, with council correspondence handled for you.

04

Construction

Build managed end to end, with a single accountable point of contact.

05

Handover

Code compliance signed off and keys in hand — nothing left outstanding.

Why Your Development Partners

Built for two kinds of client — with one standard.

For Homeowners

Build your home without managing five contractors

You shouldn't need a project-management degree to build a house. We're the single point of contact from first sketch to final key.

  • One team accountable for the whole build, not just their piece of it
  • Consent delays explained and handled — never a mystery
  • Regular, plain-language updates on programme and budget
For Developers

A partner who de-risks the pipeline

Consenting is where developments stall. We manage it in-house, so your programme holds and your capital keeps moving.

  • In-house resource and building consent — no third-party bottleneck
  • Construction capacity to run multiple sites in parallel
  • Feasibility input before you commit to a site

This policy is written to align with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and guidance from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. It's a general template based on how this website currently operates — it is not legal advice, and we'd recommend having a lawyer review it against your specific circumstances before relying on it.

Your Development Partners Limited ("YDPL", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have under the Privacy Act 2020.

1. What information we collect

We only collect personal information through the enquiry form on our Contact page. The fields are:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Project type
  • Your message, including any details you choose to share about your site or project

We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking technologies on this website, and we do not collect personal information from you unless you submit the form yourself.

2. How we collect it

We collect this information directly from you, only when you voluntarily fill in and submit the enquiry form. We don't collect personal information about you from any other source.

3. Why we collect it

We collect this information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and discuss your land development, consenting, or construction project with you. We won't use it for anything else, including marketing, without asking you first.

4. How we store and use it

When you submit the form, it's sent via Formspree, a third-party form-processing service, to our email inbox. Formspree is based overseas (United States), which means your information is disclosed across New Zealand's borders as part of sending us your enquiry. Formspree has its own privacy and security practices — you can read their policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

We keep enquiry information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and manage the project discussion that follows. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.

5. Website hosting and technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and access times) as a standard part of serving web pages. This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may process your IP address as part of delivering those files — see Google's privacy policy for details. We don't otherwise use analytics or advertising tracking on this site.

6. Your rights: access and correction

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it's wrong. To make a request, contact us using the details below — we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe, generally within 20 working days as required by law.

7. Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from loss, unauthorised access, use, modification, or disclosure. In the unlikely event of a privacy breach that could cause you serious harm, we'll notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, as required under the Privacy Act 2020.

8. Children's privacy

This website isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from minors.

9. Complaints
